Two years post-pandemic, after a surgery-gone-wrong, my life changed. My physical health was at a place where it was often challenging to move in my home from room-to-room. Being someone who loves to be active and outdoors, I had to turn in a new direction to find inspiration.
This is when I felt a call back to pursuing my long lost love of art. I hadn’t picked up a paintbrush since my teen years, and honestly, I probably couldn’t have drawn a stick figure if I was asked to! Having always considered myself a lifelong learner and not being one to shy away from a challenge, I watched every YouTube tutorial and read every watercolor book I could get my hands on, and once I put brush to paper, the magic began!
As a Gemini sun, Pisces rising and Aquarius moon, I have a passion for teaching and connecting with people from all walks of life and a calling to connect with nature and all things Venusian.
My Journey
In addition to my love of art, I enjoy sharing my knowledge from my studies at Maharishi International University where I studied Ayurveda and Consciousness and Human Potential. As a certified yoga teacher, Ayurveda consultant, sound healing practitioner, Reiki practitioner, a self-taught photographer and artist, I feel it is my soul purpose to encourage others to connect with their divine consciousness and pursue whatever awakens their soul.
Although I consider myself primarily a watercolor artist, in true Gemini fashion, I also enjoy other art mediums as well as working with mixed media. When I am not painting, I enjoy making candles, soaps, and other assortments of body care products, as well as working in my flower, herb and vegetable garden and creating gourmet style meals with the harvest. As a veteran, military wife of over 28 years, a mother of two beautiful and talented adult children, two Golden-doodles, one Yorkie, two cats and 30 chickens, I find my inspiration through quiet walks on my rural property in Upstate NY, spending time with my animals, travel, gardening, and hiking
